Fall Means Golf, Ski—and Getting Your Gear Ready for Both

What to know as Colorado’s golf season winds down and ski season ramps up.

By Lenny's Staff

October in Colorado is a little bit magic. You’re still chasing tee times, but there’s a chill in the air and snow in the forecast. Around here, fall doesn’t mean shutting down—it means shifting gears.

At Lenny’s, we start transitioning the shop at the end of October. That means ski gear starts coming out, boot fitting ramps up, and rentals get rolling. But golf’s not done—we’re still fitting players, checking gaps, and helping you finish the season strong.

Whether you’re grabbing your skis or holding onto your clubs, we’ve got your back.

Here’s what fall looks like at Lenny’s:

  1. Golf is still going strong
Cooler temps mean firmer turf and different yardages. Now’s a great time for a quick gear check to see if lie angles or gapping need adjusting.

  2. Ski rentals open around Halloween
If you want to beat the rush and make sure you’re properly fitted, now’s the time. Our rental fleet is tuned, and we’ve got boots, skis, and boards ready for all ages.

  3. The shop’s built for both
We don’t flip a switch—we balance both seasons. This time of year, the store is about one-third ski, two-thirds golf. That means no crowds, no chaos—just real help from people who know the gear and know your game.

Key takeaway:
Fall is when Lenny’s really shows what makes it different. Whether you’re getting in your last golf rounds or gearing up for your first ski trip, we’ll make sure your gear’s ready—and so are you.
